who we are
​
We are a new dance studio just outside of Kansas City Missouri in a city called Lees Summit. Founded by a former professional dancer, we are a group of educators committed to providing progressive training in the performing arts. Focusing on students ages 2-18, the classes we offer include ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical/contemporary, hip hop, acrobatics, preschool dance, musical theatre, voice and cheerleading classes.

At Kansas City Dance Company, we believe dance is for everybody. Regardless of age, shape, size, or ability, we believe every child can benefit from and deserves the chance to dance. We pride ourselves on offering quality dance training in a wholesome, family-friendly atmosphere. Our goal is to provide the best dance experience for our students and their families by offering excellent technical training, creating inspiring and exciting choreography, using appropriate music and age-appropriate costuming, and promoting a positive learning environment and positive attitudes in and around our studio. We want each student’s dance possibilities to be limitless!
